Pros
The hard thing here is that although the executives are abysmal and driving this business into oblivion, the good news is you get to watch your career crumble next to the most wonderful colleagues. Until they leave, which is happening as quickly as possible. Good work life balance except when you’re awake all night long worrying you’re part of the next round of layoffs, worrying about getting a living wage, or being exploited for your labor.
Cons
The work at Forrester is wonderful, interesting clients, compelling research. However, the top heavy nature of the company disallows for upward mobility, the poor performance driven by insane decisions by executives means that you’ll never get a raise or promotion. The name brand of Forrester in your resume doesn’t mean anything anymore in the market. Do yourself a favor, if you’re applying here, just skip it.
