Pros

People are fairly nice and willing to help for the most part.

Cons

The ideation that this place is cult like is fairly true. They suck you and have new employees but into company propaganda fairly quickly. Truth is, this product is losing steam rapidly especially with AI coming into the fold. The role is geared towards new college graduates who are excited at the prospect of their first “big boy/girl” job. Those graduates then get lured in by the name, and end up staying years because all they know is the Gartner ecosystem. Performing IC’s are typically promoted to management which means managers have very little actual management experience which leads to a toxic culture. Crappy pay, crappy insurance, silo’d culture, out of touch leaders, cultish environment. Run, run, run.

Pros

Being a globally recognized company makes it easy to consistently engage clients. Great benefits. Amazing people (managers and colleagues) For the most part there is a clear path to success and promotions. Executives listen to feedback after every internal call to help guide strategy.

Cons

In office mandate increasing in office days from once a month to once a week. Need to live in Florida or Texas because of the in office mandate. Promotions take a while since there are many people going for the same roles. Hard to reach clients and constant territory’s shifting makes it difficult to achieve the numbers you and management expect.
