      Pros

      Opportunity to work with smart and talented colleagues. Opportunity to work with clients and colleagues all over the world, in all industries - a very global company. Opportunity to learn continuously--no one ever says the job is boring. Excellent place to look for your next job - you get exposed to a lot of different situations. Trustworthy employer - company has a long history of benefits and personnel practices on a par with leading technology companies.

      Cons

      Long hours. If you don't like setting your own course and managing your own career, you probably wouldn't be happy at Gartner. Not enough time to do research, most time is spend delivering. Company tends to be Stamford CT centric.

      Pros

      Being a globally recognized company makes it easy to consistently engage clients. Great benefits. Amazing people (managers and colleagues) For the most part there is a clear path to success and promotions. Executives listen to feedback after every internal call to help guide strategy.

      Cons

      In office mandate increasing in office days from once a month to once a week. Need to live in Florida or Texas because of the in office mandate. Promotions take a while since there are many people going for the same roles. Hard to reach clients and constant territory’s shifting makes it difficult to achieve the numbers you and management expect.
