Analysts are smart and accomplished individuals that you can learn a lot from. Access to some of the best companies in the world at the exec level. A "prestige brand" on your resume.
Cons
In my 20+ years in sales, this is by far the most toxic sales environment I have ever worked in. Sales managers are promoted for favouritism, sexism is rampant in the Sydney office (ask them about this in your interview/why, and listen to what they have to say). SMs are bullies and I have seen numerous colleagues brought to tears over the years. New AEs are often handed "red accounts", red means they have already indicated that they do not see value and want to cancel the service. Ask about your territory in your interview and if you are likely to be handed these red accounts. One might be manageable, 4 or 5 becomes a nightmare and you will lose your self-respect in the process. Tread carefully.
