Pros

Some team members are among the best coworkers you will ever have.

Cons

Many in management are there due to political ambition and not the ability to lead or execute objectives. Politics drives the company culture, which is primarily focused on reducing expenses to generate revenue. The company had a culture of experts that drove growth and market recognition. However, many in management now view junior, inexperienced employees as the future, at a lower cost. This mindset created hurdles for experienced, older team members. Your direct manager can be your friend one minute and your roadblock the next. Impacting your ability to meet your objectives - think "quiet firing." Even if you do succeed and blow your targets out of the water, it doesn't mean you are rewarded. There have been several "quiet" layoffs across various groups, which have led to morale issues. Compared to industry competitors, salaries and compensation are lower. Training and investment in employees are left to the discretion of the employees. There are no planned budgets for this, and if you want to take a course, you are required to create a business case and hope your manager will advocate for it.

Pros

- Great health benefits and salary - A few great colleagues - Talk a lot about inclusion but this has slowly been falling to the wayside - I have been struggling the write this for some time as I wish there were more positive things to say

Cons

- Leadership that does not see anyone or anything but themselves - The company has been imploding for a while lying to the public and the street - Killing off the research model has been the final decision that has made many decide to look elsewhere (including me) - Lay off after lay off has created a culture of fear
