Pros
Professional group of people, great technology available and resources. Nice facilities. If you get a permanent job there, it probably pays well and has decent benefits and it is relaxed in its dress-code and environment.
Cons
The only "value-add" that GenPact brings is the arbitrage of finding people in India who can do the work for 20% of the cost of doing in the U.S. It isn't so much that the job is being done better so much as everything that can be outsourced gets shipped overseas. The place pays lip-service to valuing the people it has working for it when they can figure out how to ship your job overseas. Also, most of the Indian managers I interacted with couldn't be bothered to know my name or what I did or have any personality. Of course, there are American managers like that, too, but this seemed more common.
