Pros

Compensation, promotions, fancy titles and benefits, on site nurse, nutritionist, and gym (for a copay) - the experience of working for the number one firm on Wall Street is invaluable.

Cons

Long loooong hours, constant revolving door of people leaving, not enough subject matter experts as a result, required extra curricular work outside of your already insane schedule and stack of responsibilities, terrible culture of nothing but work- no lunch breaks, no flexibility without being looked down upon, mandatory 10+ hour days, I could go on and on

Pros

The firm encourages and supports to change teams, which is helpful in expanding experience or moving away if you aren't happy with your team

Cons

The promotion has become very opaque lately. They hardly give out promotions, but make you slog and overwork the whole year in the name of it. Basically, you have worked 200% and made to look like a fool by the end of the year.
