Pros
Good compensation, looks excellent on CV and business-school applications as a reputable "anchor" employer. Able to make some valuable connections at the peer level (but not with more senior employees).
Cons
Horrendous culture, upper management treats analysts and associates with limited respect, materialistic and judgmental employees, no company spirit beyond serving self interest and patting each other on the back about being at GS. Not to mention utterly pathetic HR department unable to resolve any office conflicts.
