Pros
-you can have good career progression as a lot of the people you have to work with are incompentent, it is easy to stand out if you are an effective worker -in the area I work I get pretty much get free hand -bit above-the-market salary -flexible working times (this is really not a standard in Hungary) -good work-life balance on average -very good employee discounts for Harman products
Cons
- one of the worst IT infrastructures & processes ever - I had to wait 1 month for my laptop why I started - lack of processes in every dept. but this can be good for you if you are in the position where you can change this - then you get all the gratitude - no collaboration from management side, basically the left hand doesn't know what the right does -upper mgt is too political, avoids conflicts with it's own peers therefore making your job more difficult, because "we have to tread carefully" - everything is chaotic and deadlines are crazy - if you cant handle that, you are pretty much done - still too connected to the previous Germany management in some departments, HQ should make a decision and totally separate Hungary from Germany's control. - poor benefits, basically a joke compared to the market - sold the company to Samsung.....
