Pros
extensive training, sets you up for a very good understanding of sales....great learning experience for an introduction into sales & what is expected in this career path.
Cons
extensive training, drinking from a firehose, only to be retrained by line-manger on how things are done in the field. My territory, as well as other Sales Consultants were bait-and-switched. I applied for one territory, then the day before my official start date, they switched my territory. Was told my I would make 'doctor money,' not so much. was also told my territory was 'untouched'... that said, I was the 3rd Sales Consultant in 1-year calling on same prospects... let me tell you, prospects are not receptive. Metrics, lots of metrics, topped with heavy amounts of micro-management.. you will be expected to follow cadences in Salesforce to meet metrics, even if it doesn't make sense... also, Hibu has automatic, internal cadences that are sent to prospects... which means, the prospects an extra amount of annoyance. Multiple Sales Consultants in close proximity (overlapping). Don't get me started on the pay structure, too complicated. But in simple terms, it is not designed to benefit the Sales Consultant.
