Pros

Working at a Hilton hotel gives you a first class glimpse of how the service industry is and should be run. Customer satisfaction is what you are selling and what better place to get started than a world renown, multinational hotel like the Hilton. Great place to work on your acting skills as well.

Cons

The scheduling can get very backwards at times because this business is open 24/7/365. You might get stuck in swing or graveyard shift. Upper management is where you want to be.

Pros

Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

Cons

I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
