      Pros

      You get to stay at Hilton hotels for a discount....sometimes, unless it's a Holiday or in a city where people like to go on vacation. If you work in a hotel, you get to eat in the cafeteria. Mmmmm....chicken and rice.

      Cons

      Low pay. Long hours. Little chance for advancement. Poor communication from corporate.

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
