Pros
I was given a lot of opportunity when I started to learn about the hotel industry from The Hilton Garden Inn. It was a great place with a small company feel. It wasn't overwhelming. I loved working with brides and company's on their special events.
Cons
The pay was very little for a lot of work and extra hours. Unrealistic goals were set for us, with little assistance to accomplish them. In house management changed 3 times in the 2 years that I was there, which made for multiple difficult transitions. I essentially took over the sales team for months with little experience.
