If you hire in as a CCS (Customer Care Specialist), once you advance beyond that, Humana really is a good place to work. - Trainer Humana Employee Review

Pros

They have a balanced work/life culture (depending on role of course). The company really cares about the health and wellness of it's employees. They go out of their way to provide healthy eating options and fitness options at all of the newer facilities. Once you get above the CCS role, it really is a good place to work. Your advancement is truly in your hands and everyone will tell you that...You have control of how far you want to go, and they will give you the tools to do it.

Cons

Office politics tend to hamper functionality. If you are is a CCS role, you are tied to your desk, there is no easy way to put that. Much of your experiance is directly tied to your direct management... Communication is also an issue...BIG TIME...a CCS will find out about an issue with steps to resolve it, hours or days after they have already been dealing with the issue...again Management is to blame for that...
