Pros
Really smart people who want to create great products for customers and who are dedicated to doing a great job. Great managers who care about the people who report to them. Real concern for work-life balance means hours are usually flexible to allow for family and personal needs as long as the work gets done. Rigorous review processes mean there is good visibility for a job well-done and opportunity for internal movement (varies by group).
Cons
Internal communication is poor, so changes in senior level goals and objectives take a while to work down through the organization. This also means different groups frequently have differing and conflicting priorities. Decision-making can be slow, painful and open to interpretation. In the past few years Intuit has lost its focus on understanding customers and really listening to what they want/need. Management is more tactical than strategic.
