Pros

Intuit is a company that's focused on long-term success; is committed to solving important issues for customers and being an innovative company; and genuinely cares about employees. Employees live by the company values that are espoused - it's not just lip service. During my tenure, I've relocated twice for job opportunities and have changed careers once. Many employees, myself included, are excited about the future of and the fresh vision that our new CEO has set for the company.

Cons

Living in Silicon Valley is expensive - a single income is not enough to purchase a condo ($500K+), townhome ($700K+), or house ($700-$1MM) which causes me to consider relocating or worse case scenario leaving the company. Even though I've had the opportunity to grow my career and develop professionally, there seems to be a "glass ceiling" that prohibits dynamic mobility. For the most part employees are committed to the company and willing to work hard but there doesn't seem to be a regular atmosphere of excitement and energy.

Large company processes can sometimes make onboarding and finding the right information slower at first.

Pros

I really enjoyed working with Intuit because it was a fast paced environment that pushed me to grow professionally. I appreciated the strong focus on customer experience, the support from leadership, and the opportunity I had to advance into a Tier 2 role within the same season. It strengthened my communication, problem solving, and multitasking skills while allowing me to help customers during stressful situation

Cons

One challenge for me was feeling somewhat disconnected from upper management and operations leadership at times. Most of my direct support and communication came from my team leads, who were very hands on and helpful. I tend to work best in environments where there is strong visibility and engagement from leadership across all levels.
