Pros

This company is one of the best companies to work for due to their willingness to hire people from all walks of life. They hire on merit and your abilities, and not what you look like. The flexibility of hours, that fact that I can work from home and choose my hours is amazing. I love the hours; the work that I do; the people I work with; the camraderie; the customers; and the fact that I am learning something new every day. I have been a tax preparer for decades and it's incredible the things I learn here at Turbotax. They also have training courses and are willing to educate you to advance in the company. I especially love that they hire people from all walks of life. I love the diversity, and cultures of people and we are all like family. We respect each other and are willing to help one another. I love feeling included.

Cons

The company ways heavily on surveys. I do not like how much weight is put on surveys. I feel like it brings anxiety to the workers and we cannot force people to fill out surveys. Maybe the company can find other ways to rate their employees work. The company records all calls, so why don't they rate the customer's satisfaction that way.

Pros

Benefits are amazing, medical insurance, vision and dental. Company match on 401K and volunteer time off.

Cons

They keep making decisions to outsource jobs to contract workers who don't share the same value in training or customer care. Oh they say they do but when you catch the listening to music so loud you can't hear the customer, or literally snoring on the line they can't do anything because of the way the contracts are set up. It is up to the contract company and the contract company just needs warm bodies. They did not even supply enough people doing our busiest season this year to co or the shifts that were required in the contract. So good luck with that. They will always eventually lay you off.
