Cons
MITRE corporate has lost its collective mind. Huge decisions are being made in a vacuum and then dropped on staff like bombs. No preparation, no commiseration, not even a decent explanation as to why they're making the decisions. They reference 'research' they've done and then run away scared because they know we're all too smart to buy it. In the past year they've significantly cut service benefits, substantially increased health benefit costs, and today announced that hybrid employees will now be required to be in the office 50% of their time, a major change from their previously much more flexible and tailorable approach. The morale of staff is awful and people are tired of it. It's not even a rollercoaster anymore, it's a fast-speeding downward spiral and we all better prepare for impact.
