Pros
-The people are nice and work together to try and navigate a challenging space -Its enjoyable working on medical devices and knowing you are helping patients -They added new leadership (Que and Co.) to try and fix things, there is some hope for the business in 5 years or so... -I think because it is so unorganized there is often not much direction in terms of how you should work, which allows you some jurisdiction revolving around timelines, action items, and daily tasks. Some days I don't need to do anything, other days are complete chaos. -Summer hours
Cons
-Slow product development and Diabetes products are not that competitive in the market -Outdated processes (its really difficult to get work done around there) -Very apparent hierarchy -Lack of mentorship/opportunities to expand network, would not recommend this business for new engineers/ as a first job. -Bad coffee, expensive food, grey and dull office yet require people in 4-5 days of the week -Bad culture, many people just complain about working there. Its actually most of what people make small talk about :(
