Pros

- Genuinely good people in sales and sales management - Good work/life balance - Company talks about their values and has community service as a core for the company - Many long time employees - Decent pay and benefits, although benefits are being trimmed - Decent time off - 3 weeks vacation a year

Cons

- Part of NTT - being rationalized as part of NTT Data and NTT Communications - expect more reorgs and potential disruptions - Think very hard before accepting an overlay position to support a specific line of business (LOB) or vendor/technology - long track record of stating commitment and then re-orging, failing to execute, having unrealistic expectations, and laying everyone off - Cloud, VMware, Data Center, etc. - Client Managers hired with only 3 month draw/ramp up - significant sales take longer than 3 months - leads to a lot of turnover of new CMs - 50% to 75% leave in 6-12 months - Strong resistance from sales of involving LOBs in their accounts until they "prove" themselves to the sales teams - slows down progress in expanding in accounts - this is supported by Sales Management - Do not expect Client Managers to support expansion of LOB plays - not their fault, but focused on making their sale target, not expanding in accounts - Sales management willing to be good enough - little focus on expanding accounts, widening into other LOBs, pushing sales teams - Significant US management turnover - current leadership has massive blind spots, especially in fundamental operations (renewals, quoting, order processing, order fulfillment), and certainty in their beliefs bordering on arrogance - DD has a compelling value prop at senior levels but most Client Managers (80%+) are selling at IT management/procurement level and the right people at the customer are not hearing the message - true at most places, but really hurting this company - Drive to professional services, consulting, and managed services, but a fundamental failure to understand what it means to deliver these services, especially managed services. Pricing also tends to be out of market. - Layoffs and stealth reorgs are commonplace outside of direct sales - especially in LOBs - Generating little free cash flow compared to what NTT requires - meeting their targets, but still a reseller at their core vs. an IT services company - time is running short for them to make that transition and NTT Data has and does it better - expect most of DD management to be cleared out once NTT moves to get costs and margin aligned - no sense of urgency - little done to get new customers or expand in current customers beyond meeting the yearly sales quota - Internal processes are a problem and holding back progress - notable individuals in the company who freelance around managed services , IT outsourcing, and other pet projects - build customer interest and then ghost - leaving sales teams to pick up the pieces - SLAs for most managed services do not exist or are meaningless - pay is less than market - often bring people in from South Africa to fill positions in US when they fail to get people in the US workforce who are willing to settle for what they want to pay

Pros

None, Do not apply for this company

Cons

Bench Policy for consulting is a slap in the face. Within 2 months it has been changed twice, now you have 2 weeks to find new work for yourself and fulfillment gives you no help whatsoever. The turnover is so high that it is impossible to establish a network within the company, meaning you will be out on the street with barely any severance by the time you have completed onboarding.
