Pros
The checks clear, no forced overtime for non-exempt employees and by and large not family unfriendly outside of vacation, the company provides some important standard training, the company does tend to follow industry best practices, peer support is variable but more often than not available.
Cons
Below average pay (though this may not be atypical in managed services), company tolerates toxic behavior from co-workers, management and customers, maybe not the worst place to work though hardly employee friendly, below average training opportunities and below average quality on the scant available technical training, little advancement opportunity, exceedingly poor HR support (very difficult to get payroll issues fixed though eventually it tends to happen with a lot of patience), can be difficult to get your vacation time though otherwise not family unfriendly, managers and co-workers poorly vetted in some regions, management colder than average.
