Pros
Orientation for new hires sets everyone on the same level that the company strives to be at - an inclusive, creative environment where people are motivated to execute their work and can admit when mistakes are made. HR put on an outstanding internship program that provided several social opportunities to interact with both all interns and full-time employees. They had good communication with my manager, who took seriously the required check-ins and meet-ups with me, which allowed me to feel more a part of the process.
Cons
Did not always feel like there was specific work for me to do, but it generally seems to be the case for interns.
