The Work From Home policy is based on the approval of the project leadership for your project - as they are in the best position to decide whether someone can work effectively from a remote location. This typically varies from project to project, phase of the project, role of the individual, and other factors. These variables may make it seem that is a biased policy, but it is not (or not intended to be). In general, we think people should work from the office. Having said this, if you still feel that there is something that you find amiss with the policy, you are welcome to talk to me or anyone else in HR - and we can look at it.
