I have been working at Nagarro full-time

    Pros

I have been working at Nagarro for several years now. All this while I have been in different projects and roles, each of which have been continuously challenging and as a result also exciting. People at Nagarro pride themselves at being technologists and are happy only because they are getting to work on complex challenges.

From a work culture point of view, the place is very respectful of the colleagues and a continuously friendly and open culture is maintained and also encouraged.

The growth prospects at Nagarro are immense. If you want to take up a challenge, Nagarro backs you fully. There are no evaluations or long drawn processes if someone wants to try a new role or area. People are constantly encouraged to learn and find their own interests.

There is a very strong push towards learning and development. The training group keeps coming up with interesting concepts and hackathons to ensure that all employees get to participate and also learn in the process. Employees find their own "tribe" when they participate in such organization level competitions which helps them enhance their own areas.

In the same way, the project assignment of employees is now being done at the organization level. As a result no employee stays stuck in one project for forever but has the option to request a release and get assigned to a new project. The employees are free to move across BUs and take up the domain of their interests if they request. The resourcing department along with the HR and training group tries to make sure that employees are assigned project roles that match their interests as well as their abilities. The allocation process is somewhat cold and non-personal but I think it is transparent and helps everyone get equal chances at different project opportunities.

The HR is very employee friendly and tries to handle employees' personal situations / needs in the most empathetic manner. While this aspect may be very subjective and may depend on a specific situation, I would say that the HR's heart is in the right place.

    Cons

Nagarro has been growing very fast in the past few years. People may find areas where Nagarro may not compare with the "big" companies. But that depends on the person's priorities. If you are looking for the "big company experience", Nagarro may not suit you.

I have been working at Nagarro full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    There are lots of it

    1. The work culture is simply awesome
    2. Flexible timings
    3. Genuine approvals of WFHs
    4. Excellent exposure to full stack technology
    5. Excellent opportunities to learn new stuff if you enroll to internal programs
    6. Truly non hierarchical structure
    7. Higher management is very much approachable
    8. Good and improved cafeteria services
    9. Flexible CTC options
    10. In house insurance and other policies

PS : Nagarro is like a family away from family where people are friendly and caring

    Cons

Well there are few but are enough to give 4 stars rather than 5

    1. The most crucial factor where most of the companies either gain or get hit is the appraisal system and its amount. I am sorry to say but the appraisals in Nagarro have reduced in amount than before and its a big factor for retaining old and crucial employees. I see many of my colleagues leaving Nagarro because of this and few other factors mentioned below.
This was never a case before but i see many who considered Nagarro to be a family and were with Nagarro from the start of their careers leaving the company. I just hope its not the case with me in future.

    2. The internal resource management is not so optimized. The new project allocations are less based on the skill set the employee has and it becomes frustrating sometimes.

    3. The most important point which i am going to make is the new feedback system for employees. It is less frequent and very less transparent (IMHO). Its a new system although and i am still not sure the impacts of it but i always believed that for employees, it should be constant course correction rather than a bi-annual feedback system and that too so less transparent. I am not sure about the end results of it. Let us see

Although i wrote that Nagarro is like a family away from family but that is very much person specific and project/department dependent This is one such point on which i would rate Nagarro good only (earlier excellent).

    Advice to Management

Could you spread more awareness about your new feedback system to the employees? i really feel the need to do that.

Perhaps we also need to apply thinking break throughs to internal resource management first :).

    healthy work environment
    focuses on new technology

    Cons

though being non hierarchical, certain accessories require approvals from the seniors (although they approve but sometimes they don't) for the lowest in designation but as the designation gets 1 tier above, approvals are no longer required for them to have the same benefit.

    Advice to Management

Management as per my opinion is doing good still some vague approvals like the above discussed in the cons section is needed to be taken care of
