Cons
- low amount of senior sales reps/managers - reaching your target is based on luck -low spender customer profiles (Oracles revenue mainly comes from key accounts) -questionable reputation in SMB segment - very short term oriented sales results -no customer centricity - very limited product knowlegde amount sales and pre-sales - approval procedures are very time consuming and might bust your deals - read the relocation agreement precisely before you consider this job (hideous) -low salary for the high cost of living in the Netherlands (expect having to move to a shared flat ) -depending on your territory and segment, expect to live from your base salary - incredibly micromanaged for a so-called "self-service company" (you will hear this at least once a day) -no employee support - managers manager, they do not lead - no investment in R&D, competitive analysis, marketing (expect to do that yourself) -highly bureaucratic for a "corporate with start-up feeling" - very informal communication on all levels - high targets and expectations for the accounts that you work on - personal development plans are treated as a formality
