Pros

Somewhat flexible work/life schedule, casual workplace, good benefits package.

Cons

Within the Production Department: There is a disconnect between the self-praise Upper Management gives itself (and the bonuses they receive) and low-level Employees Senior Management does not spend time visiting Employee areas to inquire about Employee lives or projects, much less level of satisfaction. No effort is made to bolster Employee morale or offer viable career paths. Employees in Production receive little to no recognition (including no special monetary bonuses for their products that do well in the marketplace, unlike their Editorial colleagues who do) for the hard work and dedication they show to producing an outstanding product. Morale is low, and employees have no incentive to work better or smarter, other than to maintain the status quo.

Pros

When a project goes according to plan you can work with some great people and make decent money.

Cons

Bad behavior is tolerated when you have a weak team member. They are allowed to remain on payroll, even if they do not effectively contribute. The burden is often placed on the team members willing to pick up the slack. Promotions are not given to the most qualified. They are randomly assigned. There are some horrible scoring directors as a result.
