Pros
My manager was so supportive, kind and it was clear she wanted me to succeed. She was very attentive and made sure I felt supported. The office was really nice and always had a good range of snacks.
Cons
We are required to go into the office 4 days a week with no compensation for travel, parking or public transportation. Unrealistic expectations- the account directors are heald to a very high standard which in return makes them put too much pressure on us. The account directors I worked with were unkind and overly demanding due to their being held to ridiculous standards. Too much stress for a position - I never felt like I could take PTO because I was so afraid to fall behind and not hit my numbers. No one takes accountability - if my account directors were not doing well, they would directly place the blame on me. I was wrongfully accused of not showing up for 1:1's, not being helpful, and being "untrustworthy" because I was not BCC-ing them on emails supposedly being the direct reason my account directors did not hit their numbers. The "culture" they say they have created is not as it seems. While my manager wanted me to succeed, it was clear that others did not. I never worked for people so condescending, unkind and unforgiving as the leadership here. I have never struggled to have a great relationship with my account executives in previous positions such as I dealt with here. We had to do workshops on how to build stronger connections with account directors which consisted of learning how to make them successful enough to care about us. Very toxic.
