Pros
Niche areas of extraordinary operational excellence & innovation Tremendous business opportunity & growth, especially during positive economic times Amazing at mentoring, promoting, & training young professionals through leadership programs
Cons
Post IPO, the business truly stopped focusing on their customers, and company culture and values completely deteriorated. Very small # of top performers (2%) carry the workload for the vast majority. Woke labels were highly valued & promoted, but individuals were not. As a minority myself, I found this to be incredibly insulting to high performers of all races & genders. There was way too much tolerance for poor performance. I finally chose to leave after witnessing broad and ongoing ELT retaliation on dedicated, top performing middle managers, reps, & associates in multiple organizations who provided average to poor ratings on the supposedly anonymous "Great Places to Work" survey.
