Pros
The company offers many perks beyond healthcare. Since COVID, it has gone fully remote. There is a Chicago office with less floors and desks than before. Employees can book a desk to come to downtown to work instead of from home. Other perks include a rather high (relative to my last company) tuition reimbursement amount. The company also provides assistance for mental and emotional wellness. Individuals are very straightforward and quickly jump to point with minimal work around making it easier to jump to tasks instead of trying to figure out what is the ask.
Cons
Ultimately, this is a credit card firm. Depending on your conscience, you may not like that a large portion of your income comes from high late fees and high interest rates. Since this is a credit card firm, it extremely important to bring sign on new accounts which means a go-go-go attitude from upper levels of management and can trickle down to almost all roles. There are cases when a person will sign-off for the night with a game plan to start their next day. When logging on, that game plan gets sidelined to due to requests sent extremely late at night.
