Pros

Mostly nice coworkers that care about your wellbeing Hybrid wfh Work with interesting clients (i.e management consultants, hedge funds, PE firms) Job sounds impressive when interviewing for other roles if you know how to spin it Team dinners/happy hours and company wide social events Beautiful office with great views in a good location Noticeable steps taken by leadership to improve pay and culture over the past year $20 dinner stipend when working past 6:30pm in the office Speak with a wide range of experts across many different industries Fast promotion for high performing associates Opportunity to collaborate with global offices

Cons

Intense and toxic work environment - Be prepared to deal with passive aggressive slack messages Repetitive Work Lots of cold calling No work-life balance - 8am - 9pm for Client Associates Inexperienced middle management - Most managers and Client Associates have only worked at TB and do not have perspective on other companies manage subordinates Low pay (60K base for Client Associate) - Job is in NYC so consider how far this salary takes you for the hours you'll be required to work Direct competitors pay more (i.e Alphasights, Guidepoint, GLG) Few perks outside of standard benefits and beer/snacks in the office High turnover at all levels of the company from associates to c-suite Universal targets across all verticals even though client demand and workload vary drastically

Firstly, thank you so much for taking the time for writing a review - it is much appreciated. We pride ourselves on looking after our colleagues well being and providing flexibility that works for both ourselves and our business. However, I am concerned that you mention an "intense and toxic" work environment which certainly is not the Third Bridge culture - if you would like to get in touch to discuss further you can confidentially get in touch with me to discuss - kevin.hough@thirdbridge.com. Many thanks once again

Pros

Good entry-level opportunity with exposure to fast-paced, client-facing work. The company hires driven, sociable individuals and can be a strong starting point for building communication, prioritization, and execution skills in a high-performance environment.

Cons

High turnover and inconsistent management quality significantly impact the employee experience. Success is heavily dependent on your team lead and manager, with limited recourse if you’re placed under ineffective leadership. In my experience, poor communication, lack of emotional intelligence, and unclear expectations from management made it difficult to succeed and negatively affected day-to-day productivity. Internal processes around performance management and PTO lacked transparency. I was placed on a PIP and terminated shortly after (within a week) in a way that felt abrupt and not aligned with prior communication, which was initially framed as a discussion around pending PTO. There were also delays in PTO approvals, and I experienced issues with compensation adjustments following a promotion that required follow-up to resolve.
