Pros
When everyone was in the office, I enjoyed my time connecting with co-workers on my team. The offices were very nice and clean and I had a comfortable work environment. I got a chance to learn and grow with the company, which was great. I was given the opportunity to travel to events and schedule trips with managerial approval to take meetings with clients without too much supervision. As long as my work was done, no one was bothering me.
Cons
With how many hats I was wearing it definitely took a hamper on my mental health. My work/life balance wasn't very balanced at all. I'd be working on weekends taking care of issues that would arrise and it wouldn't leave much time for myself. Promotions were not handed out, you had to fight for them tooth and nail. You would have to push your work forward in front of your managers and your reviews would dictate your salary increase / level change. The core value's of Twitch were always creators first, but now (understandably) after Amazon's buy out of the company, things have started to shift towards more micro management with profits first.
