      Pros

      Friendly co-workers, professional training, and well organized. A well oiled machine with higher quality products than most people think. Very good about ensuring personal time (breaks, no OT, etc.). And close ties to the community.

      Cons

      Senior management at the Montgomery, TX, store treat associates as barriers to their reaching the customer. If they treated associates like customers, associates would do more of the same to the customers themselves.

      Pros

      Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

      Cons

      Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
