Pros

- if full time, get benefits for health eye and dental I believe - encourage people to apply for higher up positions - if you have been working there for a couple fo years, its almost impossible for them to kick the employee out no matter how rude

Cons

- cutting down hours and shrinking personel in departments to meet budgets = more work - no proper training provided, sort of throw you in the job and expect you to learn - usually hire people in desperation and/or immigrants who do not complain about the workload - managers are not very nice

Pros

the culture is like family. lifelong bonds made here. could and would definitely return.

Cons

depressing overall mood with salaried managers coming and going always trying to implement the next corporate restructure. shuffling workers into new roles and pay structures leading to an insecure employment situation

Pros

Advancement opportunities, great at developing skills, great place to learn a skill and grow your resume, or grow with the company.

Cons

Understaffing issues negatively affects all parts of their business. However, Walmart has increased their minimum hourly rate with hopes to attract more committed employees, and retain better employees.
