This includes people who sit at their desk all day on Zoom/Teams calls and only interact when going to the restroom, getting coffee, etc. > Pay: Typical of most companies, getting above your pay range requires a promotion, meaning if you're the best in the group, you never see an annual increase unless your promoted to a different job. I know many, many smart and ethical people who never get above their pay range after years and years.
