Pros

The pay is better than similar jobs in other industry in the area. There is a lot of work autonomy. I enjoyed working with my peers of the same level.

Cons

Promotion not based on performance; and there is little chance of promotion. There was little guidance and training of company systems at on-boarding, or any other time. Wells Fargo is not a place where the management wants to challenge it's employees with offering process improvements. There was no real guidance on what annual goals are or what bonuses will be if one outperforms goals. Bonuses were given out like a Christmas party mystery gift with no rationale as to how the bonus amount was derived at. Also, if someone quit or was fired there was no notice sent out the "so and so" was no longer at the company and designating what person was know handling the departed's workload. I know that is like the behavior at a lot of large corporations these days, but it doesn't make it right.

Pros

Benefits (but cost creeping up and coverage creeping down each year), Good Morale Both Management and Coworkers, and Honestly a Great Company.

Cons

Cross Selling is the only focus now, firing employees who are great at their job in every area that should matter but if the cross selling results are not meeting the ever ridiculous quota (which continues to rise) than you may not have a job next month. Expectation for customers to say yes to cross selling, leaving you with no real control of your job security. Stress!
