Good pay, zero pressure - but say goodbye to your technical skill - Senior Software Engineer Wells Fargo Employee Review

Pros

The employer is so good that even outdated managers and senior engineers are surviving without any issues. Work-life balance is so much that after working 2–3 years here, it becomes hard to handle real work outside. They pay good salaries and provide all facilities.

Cons

I feel hundreds of managers and senior employees have become lazy and are in a deep comfort zone. They don’t want new joiners to break that loop, anyone who tries to improve or push technical work gets demotivated. The work environment doesn't support learning or growth. Even if you want to work, the team or infrastructure will hold you back. Years can pass by, and you’ll realize you didn’t grow technically. They don’t invest in proper high-end machines that are actually needed to do productive work.

Pros

Benefits (but cost creeping up and coverage creeping down each year), Good Morale Both Management and Coworkers, and Honestly a Great Company.

Cons

Cross Selling is the only focus now, firing employees who are great at their job in every area that should matter but if the cross selling results are not meeting the ever ridiculous quota (which continues to rise) than you may not have a job next month. Expectation for customers to say yes to cross selling, leaving you with no real control of your job security. Stress!
