Pros

- Pay is very high, you got to ask good number and be smart at negotiation. Make sure your QPLC component is as very low, most of the times you get less than 50% - Interview process is lengthy, probability of you getting through is high if you pass your resume through right agency - You get mac pro and three days of free lunch in a week - You get to work with few nice front-end engineer, platform engineer, creative technologist and delivery leads

Cons

- You get the vision of startup but everything is driven by Wipro mothership - Not many project and risk of loosing job is high, average duration people stay on is 10-14 months - You can stay in bench for first three months and then become mercy of situation - You will be working on internal project like 'book it' or upgrading buildit web site, these apps are being built from last 2.5 years - When the billing pressure is high or managers not happy they find reasons to fire people, You get fired with lame reason on internal project - Survival tip: Make sure your understanding with managers in Dever is really good, irrespective of pod location. Make sure you appreciate them at every opportunity.

Thank you for your review. We do take all feedback seriously, both positive and negative. Sorry that your experience was not optimal, but clarity on a few points outlined would be key to understand what we can do better. 1. The role of Studio Lead forms part of our Leadership team. This does not form part of our general team structure. Regular meetings are held by Studio Leads to address any operational issues, both at a Leadership level and team level. We believe in transparency and any issues as stated would be flagged and addressed as a priority, to ensure the happiness and welfare of our teams. A comprehension of the exact role you undertook, would support in understanding any issues, as the role you described does not fall within the realms of our Studio Lead role. 2. It would be good to get more understanding of the point around bonus. We have over a number of years paid in excess of 90% to our employees, as we have a team-based bonus structure. 3. As with any good organisation, we do not believe in dismissing staff unless it is due to performance issues. It would be ethically wrong to dismiss individuals without due cause, which goes against our company values. As a Consultancy we do want people to be billable. In cases where individuals are in between projects we firmly believe in developing their skills, therefore they undertake internal projects or are involved in personal development training (which we provide a training budget). I am sorry you did not have a stellar experience with Buildit, and we will take your feedback into account. If you do want to discuss your experience further, please do reach out to me jayne.berkye@wipro.com

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
