Pros

1. Learning is great. You will come to learn a lot of technologies in short span 2. Lot of Knowledge repository in Wipro's Intranet along with good process in terms of managing such large organization

Cons

1. Ridiculous UCF program. Sort of competency program assessing the employee's technical strength on a regular basis inspite of proving in many projects. 2. Little or no salary hike at Onsite. But will have some sort of hike in Indian locations based on your practice. 3. Too many people in manager role and hence have to come up with something to show that they work and hence lot of policies. Sometimes you will be lost in understanding on who is your technical manager. 4. Too weak when dealing with clients. Client if they are forceful and brutal, can suck up lot of working hrs from wipro employess for no extra cost. As an employee of Wipro you suffer becoz of inept managers. 5. Politics at large when you are looking for new projects.

Pros

Positive and supporting work culture where employees feel valued and respected. Team environment is very friendly and colleagues are always willing to help each other, which creates a collaborative atmosphere.

Cons

I would not 100% consider it as cons as its common thru most MNC's. But opportunities for fast career progression can vary depending on the project or team.

Pros

There are no pros to working for Wipro.

Cons

This company is a sh** show. There are too many managers and less and less people to do the actual work. They have people that negotiate contracts and then expect the company to make money. In reality, most of the time the contract is basically giving the house away. It is the employees that suffer. When the contracts go south, they cut more people. Those people are then screwed over. Be warned!! If your position ends on the 25th of the month, your health insurance also ends on the 25th of the month. Note that the premium you paid, is not pro-rated, justifying the end of coverage on the 25th. You still pay the usual premium, which should then have your coverage run through the end of the month. If they can destroy a person, they will. They want more and more and more from their employees. While they preach all this mental health, work life balance, it's a sham. They have no regard for the well being of the employee, which carries over to the employee's family.
