Pros

Enlighten is genuinely interested in providing all employees with a better work-life balance. The company gathered relevant information to evaluate whether we would be able to maintain client deliveries by moving to a 4-day work-week. Several initiatives were undertaken to reduce "waste", and this big employee friendly step was taken effective January, 2023. Kudos to the management for the systematic approach adopted to seamlessly make the change!

Cons

Career development opportunities should be more in focus. Salary levels should match up to what Management Consultants earn.

Pros

You will get good work life balance

Cons

1) No growth or promotion for employees in India. Even the senior most employees in India are given junior roles citing lack of project experience. We are never given the opportunity to lead projects citing ridiculous reasons. Only managers in US/UK are taken as project leads. 2) They feel Indians are being given exorbitant salaries when someone with 10-12 years of experience is given only 16 to 18L. And they say they have some software which gives information about salary of India market. I don't know from where they got this software. 3) Racist behaviour from a lot of employees in US and UK. When we speak on calls, sometimes we are ignored or dismissed as if we don't even exist. We are never considered for bigger roles. Our inconveniences are never taken into consideration when calls are scheduled. No one from India is part of the leadership team despite the company completing 4 years in the country. 4) They seem to be having lay off's every year. And after the layoffs, they tell the employees that everything is fine in the organisation and that we are taking precautionary measures to avoid issues in future.

Pros

Good work life balance. Flexiable working hours. 4 day work week. Work from home.

Cons

Less opportunity for career growth. No salary increment after appraisal. No job security. Company follows hire and fire policy. If company is facing lose they wont care for their employee's. One day in middle of your work you will receive a call and your been informend that you are been laid off. The layoff happens every year and management is doing nothing to stop it. Everyday you have to work not under work pressure but under job security tension. If you have back up of another job and sufficient amount of savings that you can work here or else this places is not for you. This company never thinks of its employee. Once your are been laid off they wil never reach out to you to help finding another job check whether you have got job. Its company responsibility to find another job for their formar employee after announcing layoff. Totally dissappoinment from the management.
