Repeatedly promised pay raise and promotion once a training class was available, but the start date for this was pushed back over and over. They eventually offered the promotion but without the pay raise, blaming the rest of the company for underperforming, and on a major client for not giving them the business they kept expecting. Things got so rough that one day our entire floor was brought into a surprise meeting and assured by our HR rep with no preamble that we shouldn't worry, our jobs were safe for now! We didn't know they were in danger to begin with.
