Pros

Overall the company has a good name in the market, - Good Salary - Opportunity to learn new technologies. - The salary structure is good.

Cons

As I said Company is having a good name in the market, however, it is losing its charm due to frequent layoff and also due to POOR management especially in the Bangalore office. - On what basis they are doing lay-off? how are they selecting people for this? - Few Managers are failed to take their own decisions in some crucial situations. - Promoting people who don't deserve to be promoted. Again there is no proper interview or no criteria for selecting for the desired positions. - Like in most of the other companies, if you are good to management you will survive if not then those will be targeted for next layoff. - I see lay-off is happening who works hard and the one who nodes their head to managers are still in the company. If I speak there are lots of things which I can fill in this column, Please (Indian office Management) don't ruin the name of FireEye because of your silly and hasty decisions. If you guys cannot handle and my advice is to QUIT and leave that position to the better and deserved candidate.

Pros

Pros are only high salary and benfits like Stocks and free food.

Cons

HR in the company dont tell that you are permanant in the company or not. Rather they blame , that an employee should take of his status. HR does not even talk to you on your last day asking about your issues, neither manager does. Lot of internal politics , straight towards from which state you belong in India... in support division , no north Indians are encouraged, there is a gang of people in the NOC org that controls everything, Dare you speak against them... they will threat you to fire.. culture is very bad... manager will warn directly that we will not give you bonus or hike... the worst support team cultures i have ever see during 9 year of experience ( experience which they dont value... boot licking at it peak... be submissive to the leads and managers to survive... or feel like a slave daily in office...) My recommendation if you dont believe me ... join and feel the same heat... I have left that hell...

Pros

This was the office started with big ambition. multiple, good to great projects to develop from scratch; not just maintenance. Good salary, free lunch and benefits. This is the place you want to stick around for years; but...

Cons

Few people ruined both, the work opportunity and the culture. Architects who know nothing about the technology but are there because of their link. Few manager; more concerned with people timing, meetings but not with actual work done. They are technically not very good for such projects and most of the time are trying to prove they understand tech with ease (But in vain as they do not have a clue). Many times they discuss things with Architect(who himself is trying to claim someone else's work to prove his worth). People tried to complain things to HR; but it seems there is leak there; so do not expect confidentiality. Finally the management heads who hired these guys and trust them to do the right thing. It is beyond me; how can they managed to hire so many incompetent people. On top of that; they are giving them free run; despite people complaining about them. Sadly most of the good engineers have left due to this culture.

We’re saddened to hear that you were not able to fulfill your ambition of a long term career with FireEye. It is unfortunate that you felt that a few people ruined the opportunity for you. Our Bangalore campus continues to grow and evolve and while we are justifiably proud of our achievements thus far we take all feedback seriously and we appreciate your comment
