    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Infosys BPM full-time

    Pros

The best reason one should work for Infosys BPM is world class Inhouse training and certification for any of the new joiners .Also it provides varied career opportunities to an individual based on his or her preference or interest. It takes immense pride categorised as an Infoscion with immense brand value.
One pretty good example is Lex learning app introduced recently

    Cons

Low compensation,Pathetic performance based pay structure,Mediocrity and poor performance rewarded to the highest level, missing candour.Internal growth is slow or nearly absent.lack of leadership and direction in middle management function.Employee dis satisfaction is highest in 2017-18 among Infosys employee and creating diversion will not help in long term

    Advice to Management

I believe it's time Infosys Management move to performance based pay then to doling out average payout to employee in each band which lead to dis satisfaction and low morale among top performers..Need to identify and weed out under performers as with emerging new technologies these will be more of an liability then asset to the organisation.
Specifically in BPM the support function such as HR and quality are merely doing a lip service not adding much value to the organisation in difficult time.
I believe the Infosys BPM HR and Operations has lost it's edge where instead of retaining top performers they prefer external hires by paying them astronomical money also preferring to paying more by additionally adding 3 or more FTE for covering for a loss of Knowledge worker experience and hence overall screwing up the whole P&L for the business.
I believe if the bottom lines are not managed properly we will be seeing a bleak future for Infosys BPM .
