Pros

Truly great culture, super open company, with great leaderhsip and opporutnities for growth, great community, and really great support.

Cons

As with any other consulting firm, pay can always be more, but the annual benefits that come with the package are pretty good

Pros

You might get a free trip from time to time, for employee meet-ups.

Cons

Don't really care about their people, will use you as long as they can get value without putting much effort in. Poor integrity from day one (insisted on purchasing me a phone and then within a month they asked me to pay them back for it because 'their policy had changed'), low or non-existent pay rises and extremely bad people management. Watch your back, it's not as friendly as it appears on the surface.

Pros

You will work with some of the best, most hard working, creative and caring people at Interworks. If you are looking to create lasting relationships+a network of amazing folks, this is a great environment.

Cons

They tend to hire people with less experience so they can pay them less than they are worth to do the jobs of multiple people and wont increase pay justly as more responsibilities are taken on. They also use the guise of "culture" and company events/swag as compensation rather than just paying people a competitive and fair wage.

Hey thanks for your review. We agree that we have some of the best people who are incredibly talented and hard working. We are very fortunate to work with such great people. Having an amazing culture is not a guise, it’s the real deal. We have an average tenure of over 5 years of service, so clearly our people stay with us a long time for a variety of reasons. We work with all different experience levels and pay fairly according to many factors.

Pros

As someone who has worked in enterprise-scale, Fortune 500 companies in the US, along with exposure to FAANG-level elite technology companies (as a result of my consulting background), I'd place InterWorks in the middle of these two opposing poles: • Salaries are above average compared to equivalent jobs that you can find in a big corporation (e.g. an Analytics Consultant in a large bank for example would typically pay ~20% less); however, if you compare it to Silicon Valley tech companies then there's no way InterWorks can compete in this space for topnotch talent • In terms of people that work here, I can see a handful that would be able to get into more prestigious companies like McKinsey's Quantum Black or Google for example. Overall, the people here are above average and still better than your run-of-the-mill Tableau developer in a big bank • Leadership are generally nice people at an individual level

Cons

• Compensation packages haven't kept up with the times which has led to a bunch of senior and highly talented folks to leave the company • Company needs to pivot away from BI as it becomes more of a commodity service. Data engineering and Machine learning will be key battlegrounds in the future

Growth in a Company

Pros

My personal experience has been great. I feel an understanding of what each employees actually wants and if possible they try and make it happen. It may not always work out, but so far my position has changes significantly since I started and I love what I'm doing now. Definitely people and culture focused on doing right by the clients.

Cons

Average pay for the position is not as competitive as other companies.
