Pros

The most welcoming onboarding experience I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of. The team here has a unique way of making the process exciting and really showcasing what all the company has to offer. The people are friendly and very willing to share experience and knowledge with everyone to create a stronger team overall. My daily work is the a satisfying mix of technical and process that blends into a interesting day everyday. I can see new challenges along with the tools and methods to conquer them in my future here at such a great company. Here is to many more days as a part of the InterWorks power team!

Cons

This is a consultation company and as such the style of work will not click with everyone. The hierarchy used in roles here is not as defined as other companies, although this does lead to a more dynamic work place overall.

Pros

You might get a free trip from time to time, for employee meet-ups.

Cons

Don't really care about their people, will use you as long as they can get value without putting much effort in. Poor integrity from day one (insisted on purchasing me a phone and then within a month they asked me to pay them back for it because 'their policy had changed'), low or non-existent pay rises and extremely bad people management. Watch your back, it's not as friendly as it appears on the surface.

The culture is unmatched. Great people, great place to grow.

Cons

This is a great first job. The environment is wonderful, and you can learn a lot. They do expect you to take a lot of initiative.

Thanks for your feedback! We’d love to learn more during the employee engagement survey to better understand and address our people’s needs. We encourage anyone wanting a promotion or more responsibility to work with their manager on a plan.

Pros

The most remarkable characteristic that distinguishes the company is its strong focus on employee well-being and the quality of its people. On the one hand, from a personal perspective, there is an Employee Experience team that is constantly attentive to maintaining a healthy balance of activities and care for employees. On the other hand, from a professional perspective, this is the right place for you if you are passionate about IT. This means you are not restricted to specific technologies or industries if you want to learn or work on. Finally, on a personal level, most people are very friendly and always willing to share their experiences.

Cons

As far as I can tell, the hiring process is quite lengthy. I’m sure there are other drawbacks, but I haven’t encountered any so far.

Pros

You will work with some of the best, most hard working, creative and caring people at Interworks. If you are looking to create lasting relationships+a network of amazing folks, this is a great environment.

Cons

They tend to hire people with less experience so they can pay them less than they are worth to do the jobs of multiple people and wont increase pay justly as more responsibilities are taken on. They also use the guise of "culture" and company events/swag as compensation rather than just paying people a competitive and fair wage.

Hey thanks for your review. We agree that we have some of the best people who are incredibly talented and hard working. We are very fortunate to work with such great people. Having an amazing culture is not a guise, it’s the real deal. We have an average tenure of over 5 years of service, so clearly our people stay with us a long time for a variety of reasons. We work with all different experience levels and pay fairly according to many factors.

Pros

Still good people around, that gives this company some hope.

Cons

bit of a boys club, if u don't fit into their mold, can be marginalised very quickly. Can be cut throat and extremely long hours

We agree that we have good people working here! We are celebrated for all being different in our own way and feel empowered to make a difference in our work, culture, and communities. Most of us work normal hours with a good work/life balance that enables us to prioritize our families while still succeeding in our work. It’s clear that you were unhappy while working here. We wish we could have had a chance to turn that around for you and us. Hoping you have found happiness.

Pros

My personal experience has been great. I feel an understanding of what each employees actually wants and if possible they try and make it happen. It may not always work out, but so far my position has changes significantly since I started and I love what I'm doing now. Definitely people and culture focused on doing right by the clients.

Cons

Average pay for the position is not as competitive as other companies.
