Upper management only focus on short term without caring about long term at all Very family style management - people in executive positions do not understand business or consumers Unprofessional handling - the upper management let go several country GMs without prior notice or any handover No performance review or appraisal system - everyone gets the same bonus in 1 market, or no bonus at all (which is very often) Poor employee benefits Almost nothing is digitalized - you need to apply for leave manually on a paper (this is 2025!)

There aren't any cons that i can think of

Small store teams, which can make scheduling challenging and not be condusive to the best customer service. However, after two decades in retails this is hardly unusual or unmanageable. Biggest opportunity is career advancement...for an international company, domestic opportunities to move up are few and far between. But this comes down to corporate structure and how retailers create their lines of support. Advancement can be tough if you can't or don't want to play the waiting game. With that being said, being able to relocate or move is a huge plus in opportunities.
