All the negative reviews on glassdoor are about the sales team, here is another one:
- Poor communication: There is no clear definition of roles, monthly target changes contantly and it will only be communicated till the mid or end of the month. Commission scheme was only confirmed after 4 different answers back and forth.
- No proper training and onboarding. The training agenda depended on the CSO's time schedule, he could be away for so many hours and you got confused about what to do. No structured training was given.
- Very low and unfair salary. If you are an intern, you will work exactly the same and have the same monthly target as a full timer, while your commisssion is 60% less. Not to mention you received much lower base salary with the same workload. The CSO would simply tell you that "you are inexperienced", and ignore the fact that you have hit the sales target and performed well.
- Super micromanagement: Even though 2 experienced managers are hired, they are still being micromanaged. It is very hard for them to have the empowerment and make changes. They have years of experiences and know how to walk, you don't have to teach them.
- 3 employees were fired in a week without prior notice. Morale is really bad. Employees feel insecure about their jobs and contantly talk about job hunting.
- No employee benefits, no BVG discount, no sports membership, no German class and no budget for personal development.
- All in all, working in LemonOne is like having a toxic relationship. I am so glad that I can leave.
