I have been working at Lincoln Financial Group full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Pay is better than most - Benefits are great - 401k is unbeatable - PTO is fair - Co-workers are very kind and helpful, they want to get to know you - OT opportunities

    Cons

    - Expected to work OT - No one is here to hold your hand, you're expected to be a self-starter - Though management is very nice and supportive, don't expect them to recognize that you have an overwhelming workload without telling them

I worked at Lincoln Financial Group full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

The people at LFG come from a great diverse background and are enjoyable to work with. LFG has many opportunities for its employees to take on additional roles outside the space of their day to day job through volunteer work and various community programs. It is a place that rewards those that work hard and deliver.

    Cons

LFG acquired a division of Liberty Mutual in 2018 and since then there has been a significant shift in leadership positions from those previously at LFG to those coming from Liberty Mutual. Many of the leadership positions once in Omaha have shifted to those on the east coast as well as many of the opportunities for advancement. As with many other companies this one is also challenged with political bureaucracy that requires one to navigate to advance the ranks.
