A lot of PTO days - for everyone

Cons

Poor pay increases. Joke of a performance review process. Poor work life balance. Disconnect between corporate office and people doing the real work. Very expensive medical benefits for a healthcare company.

Great benefits including 27 days of PTO. Work / life balance is attainable. Schedule has some flexibility. Weekly prayer gathering allows associates to support each other.

Cons

Limited advancement opportunities. Restrictive policies for advancement.

Perks of the company: 1. Front loaded PTO - you get all of your PTO in January for use throughout the year 2. Good work and life balance - you may have days where you need to buckle down but it comes in waves. 3. All leaders can be accessed and like to be involved in many of the projects being worked. 4. Supportive leadership on all fronts (in my opinion)

Cons

Items to keep in mind: 1. PTO is not paid out - if you leave it is gone - you need to use it each year or you lose it. You can carry over 40 hours to new year but that is at discretion of the company. 2. Some positions are a mix of in office and remote. Currently, My team is 4 days per week in office. Leaders requesting to allow for more collaboration. Meetings are still being done virtually because most support teams are not local or still remote. I am not seeing more collaboration with in-office work.

Medxcel offers 27 days of PTO which is way more than any company I have ever worked for. I love that it allows me to spend more time with family through the year. They are my "why." I also like the flexibility that Medxcel offers with my schedule. The culture here at Medxcel is part of the reason I enjoy working here. We are always doing different events with the team to ensure great teamwork and collaboration so that nobody ever feels like they are on an island.

Cons

There are sometimes break downs in communication between departments.
