Pros
1) There is a lot of freedom when it comes to internet usage within office hours. Be it youtube or hotstar, etc. 2) Work from home is always an option. Very easy going life, nothing hectic. 3) You may get to learn a lot initially if you get a decent project as the timelines are not that stringent so one can always explore a lot on his/her own.
Cons
1) There is hardly any growth whether it is salary or designation. 2) No activities from the HR department to keep the atmosphere lively. Have never seen any cultural festival being organized. 3) If you are looking for good career growth with challenging work then this is the not the right workplace for you. 4) The technologies being used in the product unit that I am a part of are really outdated and few teams look adamant not to use something as popular as Spring and Hibernate.
