Pros

100% remote work Nice group of people working here

Cons

Very poor middle and senior mgmt. They do not understand their own business. This combined with no formal processes and no training has led to a poor working environment. Any younger professional looking to work here, RUN AWAY. No plan or path for upward promotions, no raises unless you threaten to leave and even then, they let very skilled employees go. Very high turnover. Would not recommend any one work here or use Performant as a vendor. The amount of hipaa violations and other scummy shortcuts that occur here are atrocious. Overall, this place is doomed!

Pros

Remote, enjoyed some of my coworkers

Cons

The onboarding process is inadequate, with very little training and no proper guides to help new employees understand systems or workflows. Management often lacks the knowledge to provide support or guidance, leaving coworkers overburdened with assisting new hires. This creates frustration, and some knowledgeable coworkers develop poor attitudes due to being overworked. The HR department does not seem employee-focused and can feel untrustworthy. Management plays favorites, and some leaders communicate disrespectfully, treating employees as if they are children. When asking for help, employees are directed to LinkedIn courses that are irrelevant to the company’s systems or departmental needs. The IT department is severely understaffed, leading to delays and missed deadlines when key personnel are unavailable. Internal disorganization and poor work-life balance make it difficult to thrive in this environment. Additionally, there are limited opportunities for growth or movement within the company, leaving employees feeling stagnant.

Pros

Work from home, and made good friends.

Cons

Vacation was not a lot of time, my boss was in my messages asking me personal things all the time when i would need time off, even ask what meds i took once, also when switching contractors had poor training and nothing done about it when we reached out to tell the boss that we were all getting different answers in what was supposed to be the same training, poor communication, anytime we spoke out in the chat about something we were shot down by our boss and told to just control what we can control

Pros

I came to this job as a career change and it's had it's challenges. Company is great to work for though.

Cons

Training was minimal for a new field that I was just entering. It's taken a while to find my bearings with all the different rules and systems associated with doing my job.

Pros

I liked the actual job and duties. It was a simple job and it was off the phones.

Cons

-Didn't get access to the systems until the last week of training. -Training wasn't great because of the lack of system access. We had to use our trainer's systems by taking over their screen. -Pay was on the lower end for a government contract. -In addition to your background check for getting hired, you need to do an additional federal background check and fingerprints. They didn't mention that during the interview. -The supervisor I was assigned to was horrible. She was rude and not a people person. I asked to be switched to a new team and the request was declined. -They wouldn't convert to my time zone and would only go based on EST hours even though they hire in all time zones. -They have no courtesy. Random employees are allowed to call you over teams without any notification or explanation. You are expected to take each call. No if ands or buts, that's company policy. -The worst con is that the company didn't disclose that they are in the process of being acquired by another one. Not one once of transparency on their end. -They don't have an efficient way of tracking productivity and schedules. It is all done by filling out spreadsheets.

Pros

Remote work, and nothing else

Cons

They hire upper level management that do not know the business at all. And they take no time to learn it. They have no idea how to do the job and offer no solutions except "get it done". Training is as much as joke as their "Subject Matter Experts". That group is also run by someone who has zero experience.
